Our Strengths

  1. Dynamic and dedicated teachers.
Our teachers are qualified, enthusiastic, organized, dedicated and fun to be with. They are creating classroom communities that are truly focused on learning and building knowledge.
  2. Carefully selected teaching materials.
According to scientific studies, most of what people learn is forgotten after a short period of time. Spaced repetitions can help them keep retention at optimum levels. We choose Yang Jizhou’s Chinese Course, Hu Bo and Yang Xuemei’s Chinese Listening Course, Dai Xixin and Wang Jing‘s Spoken Chinese Course because these textbooks are complete series. They support each other and provide students with spaced repetitions. It helps students learn Chinese more effectively.
  3. Well designed courses.
Our courses, with a clear rationale and specified objectives, contain content that has been selected on the basis of the learning needs of students. They make strategic uses of a range of teaching approaches which create learning experience for students which will lead them toward the achievement of the desired learning objectives.
  4. Recreational and educational activities.
There are more than 30 student organizations in the college, such as Martial Art organization, dancing organization, Chinese calligraphy organization, roller skating organization. You can join these organizations to have fun with the Chinese students as well as to improve your Chinese.
  5. Language Pals.
Students at our college can speak at least one of six languages (English, French, German, Korean, Japanese, and Russian). It will be very easy for speakers of any of these six languages to make friends and find language pals to help each other. Beginners won’t feel lonely because someone knows their mother tongues. Advanced learners can learn more about the difference between Chinese culture and their own ones.
  6. Wonderful living environment.
The college is only a few hundred meters away from the beach. The air is pure and fresh, free of pollution. The landscape is gorgeous. Students can enjoy the sunrise and sunset, watch the fishing boats going out to the sea and enjoy delicious seafood. During the warmer months, they can also go swimming in the sea, sun bathing on the beach and fishing by the beach. They can go on the sea by boat or yacht, take a cable car, sand-ski or grass-ski, and visit beautiful sights. It makes life so interesting and enjoyable.
  7. Rich sites of historical and cultural interest.
Qinhuangdao, the city where the college is located, is named after Qinshihuang, China’s first emperor.
